Hi my lovely,
Have just logged onto the forum today after phoning you, and now I know why you're not at home. Keeping all fingers and toes crossed (the ones that will!) that all goes well. I would be interested to know how you got on with the endocrine tests, I've got mine coming up soon and don't know what to expect.
Hoping all goes well with approvals for adaptations to the house, wheelchair access motor, and of course not forgetting little Bernice, the visit to the childminders.
Will try and call tomorrow,
love,
Barbara XXXXXX

I am home, had all the tests and the endocrine team are very much on the ball.
hospital day unit left a lot to be desired and were not good, bearing in mind the last time i was there i had an anaphalaxic shock and they denied it all and my gp complained etc....
it seems i have had a couple of extra, unplanned tests today as they re-evaluated things on the day (listening to patient a good thing i think) and have promised to speak to the rheummy team even consultant to consulant
resting now as things are pretty awful physically. but i am still in here......
somewhere

Thanks for letting us know how things went today Jenni, have been thinking of you.
Its sound very positive on the rheumy team front, lets hope it rubs off onto everybody else, it certainly should.
Hope you have a good night, and feel a little better in yourself tomorrow.

Hi Jenni, Hope you had a decent night after your day of tests in the hospital. Hope there`s a good outcome for you, in that your consultants actually manage to TALK to each other! Take care, Kathleen x

hi
been on the phone to the hosp and i have a crp of 82 no infection etc.
blooming awful.
they wanted to see me or for me to present at a and e but i cant do it anymore. all the "whats wrong with you?! what joint is that in then?" is just beyond me. i am due to see the rheumatologist thurs and have actually got a timed appt at 11am! wow!
I have asked the nurse to email the consultant to let him know that endocrinology are trying to be in touch.

Sorry to hear Jenni that you are feeling so unwell today, and that your crp is so high.
I m pleased you will be seeing the rheumatologist Thursday, I am be losing the point but how can they expect you to present yourself at A & E, its beyond belief.
Hoping things improve a little for you over the weekend.

Jenni, glad you have timed appt, wonders will never cease!!! yes, get them to check about meeting consultant to consultant, have they never heard of a multi disciplinary meeting???!!! Surely it makes sense to get one dept to meet with the other- but then they cant be logical eh!! Lets hope the appt gets you somewhere re treatment. CRP 82!!! good luck with it all x x x BARBARA

So glad you managed to get thru' yesterday Jenni - I'm not surprised they contacted you after finding CRP so high. I just hope that the endocrine team have contacted your rheumy before you see him on Thursday. I hope you manage to get some rest this weekend. How did Bernice get on with the childminder?

Hi Jenni I'm lost for words. At least yesterday got the tests sorted and that's a start and on the positive side an appointment with rheumatology next week, but A&E?? What do they really think A&E are going to do? And at the weekend of all things? Beggars belief it really does. At least you're home and can rest in your own bed with your family around you. Hope adorable little Bernice got on okay. Take care Jenni, thinking of you. Lyn x
